Charge | What to do if my Fino doesn't charge?
- Please use a 5V/1A USB wall charger to charge. For optimal performance, we recommend using our original power cord whenever possible.
- Please ensure the charging cable is fully inserted for successful charging. Apply firm pressure until you feel it click into place.
- When the white indicator begins breathing, this confirms your Fino is properly connected and charging.
- The charging cable may be damaged during shipment and delivery. Please retry with other type-c cables if the device is unable to charge. If the above does not solve the problem, please contact:support@outin.com
Charge | How do I know if the charging is complete?
- During the charging process, the white indicator will breathe. When fully charged, indicator will stay on. Please unplug the charging cable as soon as possible.
Charge | Does it work with 220V or 240V?
- Both 220V and 240V can be charged as long as the charging adapter supports it.
Capacity | What is the maximum capacity of coffee beans my Fino can hold?
- 25g
Use | What should I do if I realize the grind size is set incorrectly after starting the grinding process?
- To protect the burrs, please avoid pausing the grinder during operation. You may directly adjust the grind size by rotating the grinding adjustment ring.
Use | What should I do if the grind setting doesn't match the actual grinding result? (For example, the powder seems too coarse when using setting 1)
- Please confirm you understand the correct grinding adjustment method: Moving the Setting Dial - the smaller the grind setting number, the finer the powder; the larger the number, the coarser the powder.
- If you have disassembled the machine, the Inner Burr may not be properly installed. Please perform the following self-check to ensure correct burr repositioning:
① Press down on the Inner Burr - you should feel spring resistance.
② If the Inner Burr can be pressed flush with the surrounding metal surface, it is correctly repositioned. - If the above does not solve the problem, please contact:support@outin.com
Use | What should I do if my Fino stops automatically during grinding?
- Low Battery: Ensure the machine is sufficiently charged, then try grinding again.
- Bean Jamming: Gently tap the grinder to help beans fall properly into the burrs if they’re stuck.
- Blockage Protection: If beans (especially light roasts) or foreign objects (e.g., stones, unroasted beans) clog the burr, the safety mechanism will activate. Refer to the manual to disassemble the Inner Burr, clean the chamber, and restart.
- Overtime Shutdown: The Fino has a 300-second (5-minute) max continuous runtime per session. After automatic shutdown, please note there will be a 3-minute cooldown period before you can double-click the button to restart grinding again.
Use | What should I do if the grinding process takes too long?
- Grinding time varies depending on the grind setting and coffee bean type. The following data is for reference only:
- During controlled lab testing, the Fino processed medium-roast coffee beans at grind setting 2 in approximately 2 minutes 15 seconds. Actual results may vary depending on bean variety, humidity, and other usage conditions.
- Acceptable deviation: ±30 seconds
- General trend: Dark roast > Medium roast > Light roast (longer grinding time)
- Max continuous grinding time per session: 300 seconds (5 minutes).
Use | What should I do if a foreign object falls into the bean hopper and cannot be removed?
- Please refer to the instruction manual for the proper method to disassemble the Inner Burr, then clean the burrs and the inside of the bean hopper.
Use | How should I clean the burrs and bean hopper after prolonged use?
- Please refer to the instruction manual for the proper method to disassemble the Inner Burr, then clean the burrs and the inside of the bean hopper.
Use | Why is there a weight difference between the beans I put in and the ground coffee output?
During grinding, static electricity may cause some coffee grounds to cling to the chute. You can try the following methods to minimize this:
- Lightly tap the machine to dislodge any stuck grounds.
- For regular use, we recommend grinding 0.5g more beans than your target dose.
- Spritz a small amount of water on the beans before grinding to reduce static. (Note: Use only a fine mist to avoid moisture buildup.)
Use | Why does my Fino make unusual noises during operation?
- First, determine whether the noise occurs during idle operation or actual grinding:
- Idle operation noise: Minor noises are normal during initial use. The noise should disappear after 2–3 normal grinding sessions (grinding helps calibrate the machine).
- Grinding noise: Please refer to the instruction manual for disassembly steps, then clean the Inner Burr to remove potential obstructions.
- If the above does not solve the problem, please contact:support@outin.com
Use | My Fino seems to have something loose inside - it rattles when shaken. It sounds like beans might be stuck. What should I do?
- Please refer to the instruction manual for the proper method to disassemble the burrs and clean the grinding chamber and bean hopper.
- When not in use, we recommend keeping the bean hopper closed to prevent foreign objects from accidentally entering.
- If the rattling persists, please contact our support team for further assistance: support@outin.com
Use | Can I use it while charging?
- Fino cannot be use while it is charging. Please use our device when it is fully charged.
Use | How to determine my ideal grind size?
- Please refer to this chart and consider your preferred coffee type to determine your ideal grind size range. We encourage you to experiment within the recommended parameters!
Clean | How should I clean my Fino?
- Cleaning the exterior: Gently wipe the surface with a slightly damp soft cloth, avoiding any moisture seeping into the internal components.
- Cleaning the interior:Please refer to the instruction manual for the proper method to disassemble the Inner Burr, then clean the burrs and the inside of the bean hopper.
Clean | Can I rinse my Fino with water?
- No. The Fino contains electrical components and metal burrs. Water contact may cause short circuits or rust. For cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth for the exterior, and a dedicated cleaning brush or air blower for the interior.
