I was loving using my OutIn Mino but it developed a fault after a couple of weeks - the company sent me a replacement in short order and I could not be happier with their great product and their brilliant customer service.
This was bought as a gift for my son. He was totally blown away…. And put it straight into use. Wonderful piece of kit, well thought out and great design 🙌

Great product, perfect for what I needed. Portable and waterproof, so it goes with me camping and outdoors. The espresso is as good as my home unit!
I have ordered the OutIn Mino for my road trip to Norway and I LOVE it! Makes amazing espresso - way better than my coffee automat at home (Gaggia Magenta Plus). I just wish we could get a double, non-pressurized basket for the Mino just like the Nano has, I would have ordered the Nano Kruve but it was not in stock at the time and I wouldn't have received it on time for my Norway trip, so I really hope that Outin will listen to its users and will add a double basket as an additional accessory for the Mino.

I bought this for the weekend camping trips that I do and its perfect. Its so compact and works with either hot water (if I have to make coffee quickly for a bunch of people, I boil some water first) or cold water (if I want the convenience of just running solely of the out in). I started trialling ground coffee but, honestly, when you're camping out the back of the car, its a bit too messy to be cleaning it up between cups. Much easier using the nespresso pods. My local supermarket has a multitude of options and after several weeks in the office and one trip away, I'm still experimenting to find the "best" ones.

A massive improvement over the previous models this one can take any water temperature and top it up with its heater. Takes pods or ground coffee and is as good as my ‘real’ machine. Thumbs up.
With good coffee beans, a quality grinder, and good water this can make good espresso. The experience is marred by the mediocre basket and tamper, and the basket also doesn't fit the Fino grinder funnel, which it really should since the Fino is also an Outin product. Hopefully Outin is developing a Mino version of the Basket Plus with 18 gram capacity and a better tamper. Still a good option for travel espresso brewing.
I’ve been realy impressed with the Outin portable espresso machine. For such a compact device, the performance is outstanding. The self-heating feature is a game changer, it heats water quickly and delivers a rich, smooth espresso with a surprisingly crema, comparable to much larger machines.
What I love most is the convenience. Whether I’m traveling, camping, or just away from home, I can still enjoy a high quality espresso anytime. It’s easy to use, well-designed, and feels durable. The ability to use both ground coffee and capsules adds great flexibility.
Overall, this is an excellent investment for any coffee lover who values portability without sacrificing quality. Highly recommended!
OutIn Mino Portable Electric Espresso Machine
The Mino is great solution and upgrade for outdoor adventures that produces impressive espresso from NS Pods and your own freshly ground coffee. I would give it 5 Stars but the Mino still lacks an OEM aluminum portafilter that accepts the Nano Basket+. This forces me to use a plastic 3D printed option instead which I find unacceptable from Outin given the deliberate change with such a minor and intentional thread pitch difference between the Nano and Mino portafilters. Shame.
Nothing quite like the feeling of real espresso from such a tiny device!
I think the ratio off the water that extracts the coffee is little bit more so i feel its watery more..

Its built well, small and portable. Pulls great shots(using pods).
The one thing I dont like- sometimes not all the water drains from the tank when pulling the shot. I need to run another round. It is not a big deal so still 5 stars. I can get a good espresso shot ANYWHERE. In a hotel or even on a plane(and make everyone jealous:))) Thanks for a great product OutIn
After some weeks with my Mino I can say it's a great machine. It's amazing the high level of coffee with this small and nice machine. Congratulations to engineers!
I’ve now used this on a couple of trips, one by car and one by plane/ train/ ferry - fits in hand luggage, makes a great espresso or “long black” (double shot of water with same capsule) using pods or grounds (pods more convenient in a hotel) … with hotel kettle using or its own battery in a lay-by. Does everything I wanted.

Suggestions for Improvement:
While I’m very satisfied, a couple of small tweakes could make it perfect:
1. A Locking Mechanism for the Top: A small, secure lock or latch on the top cap would provide extra assurance of a perfect seal during operation. It would just add that final bit of confidence.
2. Strengthen the Folding Tamper Arm: Unfortunately, the folding arm on the otherwise clever scoop/tamper broke easily during use. This part feels like the weak link in an otherwise robust system. Reinforcing this hinge would make the accessory as durable as the machine itself.
Final Verdict:
Despite the minor issues with the tamper, the OutIn Mino is a winner. The core machine is exceptional, the service is supportive, and it makes fantastic espresso anywhere. If you’re an outdoor enthusiast or just value a quality, mobile coffee shot, this is an excellent investment. I’m very happy with my purchase.
