I bought the Mino and like it a lot. It makes good coffee and is convenient enough that I use it far more than I expected.

Battery life depends heavily on how you use it. If I preheat the water to 85 to 90 °C in a kettle first, the battery lasts a long time. I haven't counted exactly, but I'd estimate 40 to 50 shots per charge. The device only has to heat the last few degrees, which is where most of the energy would otherwise go.

Two things bug me:

No proper tamper or needle distribution tool. For a machine that makes this good a shot, the tamping and distribution tools are an obvious gap. I could design and 3D-print my own, but I don't want microplastics near my coffee grounds. A well-made metal tamper and distribution needle set would fix this, and I'd happily buy one.
The stand. I'm considering one, because holding the device over a cup of foamed milk while the water heats the last 5 °C or so is a nuisance. A stand that holds it in place would make the milk-drink workflow much more practical.

Overall, a very good product, and an official metal tamper and distribution tool would make it better still.

Battery don’t last enough . I expected more on that aspect.

Bought it as an ultralight thruhiker - everybody is entitled to a gullible pleasure. However, the ease of use on the trail as well as the quality of the shot of espresso more than justify taking along the weight of an extra winter quilt.

Best of all? It produces some great espresso, to that extent I'm now just using it at home too...

Im Vergleich zur Nano (hatte ich vorher) schafft die Mino eine Tasse mehr. In der Summe komme ich auf 4 -5 Tassen Kaffee, wenn kaltes Wasser verwendet wird. Der Espresso selbst ist geschmacklich ausgezeichnet. Allerdings treten gelegentlich zwei Probleme auf. Zum einen reicht manchmal der Druck der Maschine nicht aus das Wasser durch die Kapsel zu drücken, d.h. es kommt einfach kein Kaffee raus, obwohl sich die Maschine "redlich bemüht". Beim Einsetzen der Kapsel wird diese hinten aufgestochen, dieses ist nicht das Problem. Während der Extraktion wird dann durch den Druck die Alufolie auf der vorderen Seite der Kapsel gegen eine Art Sieb gepresst. Die Folie sollte dann bei entsprechendem Druck löchrig werden, so dass der Kaffee (ohne Pulverbrösel) in die Kaffeetasse fließt, aber eben erst ab einem gewissen Druck. Wenn kein Kaffee rauskommt ist die Alufolie in Takt geblieben d.h. der Druck gegen das Sieb war nicht stark genug. Abhilfe ist dann einfach noch einmal den Extraktionsvorgang zu starten. Dann funktioniert es eigentlich immer. Ich gebe aber keinen Punkt Abzug, weil ich nicht weiß ob es an den Kapseln oder an der Maschine liegt. Ich verwende als Sparfuchs halt die Nespresso - kompatiblen Kapseln vom Discounter und nicht die Originalkapseln. Eine zweite Gefahr besteht darin, die Kapseleinheit zu fest zuzuschrauben. Ich hatte diese einmal etwas fester angezogen (dennoch nur handfest) und nach der Extraktion war es mir nicht mehr möglich die Kaspeleinheit wieder abzuschrauben. Damit war die Kaffeefreude leider für ein paar Tage vorbei, da ich keine Rohrzange mit mir hatte. Zuhause konnte ich die Einheit dann mit der Zange leicht wieder abschrauben. Muss man auch nicht unbedingt gleich einen Stern abziehen, denn wenn man es weiß hält man sich beim "Schrauben" etwas zurück. Letztlich geht es um einen guten Kaffee und da hält die Maschine was sie verspricht.

The battery lasted for only about 2 cups of coffee made with cold water and 8–10 cups made with hot water. Now, the battery has stopped charging altogether.

Overall, my experience with Mino was a major disappointment. I purchased it specifically for a road trip across the US. Unfortunately, it didn’t even make it through two weeks and performed poorly from the start. Given the price and the intended use, I expected much better reliability and battery life.

The Mino worked great when not at altitude (worked on first attempt and produced crema), but when I brought it up into the mountains (7800 ft), it didn’t work well. I had to run the cycle 5-6 times to get any coffee out, and the coffee that finally came out had no crema. When I brought it back down out of the mountains, it worked well again. No other variables changed between these tests (same exact ground coffee used, same quantity, same tamp pressure). I tried differing quantities of coffee and tamp pressure to see if I could get something to work, but all results were the same at altitude. I’m disappointed as I bought this primarily to be used while hiking, at altitude.

I only received my delivery of the Outin Mino on the 5th of August , that’s not 40 days . It took nearly 2 weeks for the delivery to be completed and my Mino was apparently coming form a European warehouse. So not impressed with the delivery time .
Also I have just had to send an email to customer support as i am having issues with changing my Mino . Unfortunately for I have not had a good experience. Maybe I’ve been unlucky with my unit , but it doesn’t inspire me with confidence .

Great bit of kit and makes a lovely espresso but you guys really need to up your game and provide baskets available as an extra so I can have 4 available for when I have friends round

I was loving using my OutIn Mino but it developed a fault after a couple of weeks - the company sent me a replacement in short order and I could not be happier with their great product and their brilliant customer service.

This was bought as a gift for my son. He was totally blown away…. And put it straight into use. Wonderful piece of kit, well thought out and great design 🙌

Makes coffee as good as any Nespresso. Fast and easy to use and clean. Very portable. Lots of shots using hot water from a single charge

Great product, perfect for what I needed. Portable and waterproof, so it goes with me camping and outdoors. The espresso is as good as my home unit!

I have ordered the OutIn Mino for my road trip to Norway and I LOVE it! Makes amazing espresso - way better than my coffee automat at home (Gaggia Magenta Plus). I just wish we could get a double, non-pressurized basket for the Mino just like the Nano has, I would have ordered the Nano Kruve but it was not in stock at the time and I wouldn't have received it on time for my Norway trip, so I really hope that Outin will listen to its users and will add a double basket as an additional accessory for the Mino.
