I purchased my Outin after my old wired ‘other branded’ machine failed. I have found it to be perfect and convenient, I drive a truck so it’s portability is key and the 4 x coffees (cold water) from a single charge is awesome… plenty of caffeine to charge my day. My husband has been wanting one for a few months and I got it for him for our anniversary and he absolutely LOVES it!! He has 1-2 espressos per day and tells all his friends about it! He loves that it even creates the perfect foam top just like a real European espresso. He takes it fishing, camping, hiking, long road trips, etc! Definitely the best gift you can get a coffee lover for sure!! He even will make me lattes so I love it too!!
I just flew a light aircraft from Singapore to Australia and back and this was a lifesaver getting me through long flights over Java and then stopping in the outback in the middle of knowhere able to have a fresh espresso

There is a but. The battery last for 2 coffee at most.
Nearly 3 weeks after ordering, item not received. Tracking is dead 200 miles from me and has been for 19 days. Customer service has said “24-48 hours”, “a few more days”, and now “one more week” before implementing a refund or replacement.

For the cofee maker itself:
Heating system amazing.
Water pump: leaves small amount of water to deposit.
Has fixed timer. I would propose a sensor to automatically stop.
Extraction: with capsules we get weak flavor and little crema. With grinded coffee we need a bit larger size of crystals, deviating from standard grind. Flavor and crema with single extraction is ok.
With double extraction is superb.
Those issues can be fixed either by updating the basket or adding more pressure.
Given it is portable, it can be considered value for money.
For the case:
The unit fits securely.
The cap could have a bit more space. I struggle to put the stand in it. I know it was not designed with that in mind, but let's be honest, you provide 2 stands and you also have the the combo with the stand.
Now the compartment at the side of the unit:
The slot for the basket is not mandatory to be separate.
Most of the time the user will choose only one option. All this designated area should be able to have a spring-loaded feed mechanism to either accommodate stacked capsules, or a vial with ground cofee.
In general, the case is well designed, sturdy and ergonomic.

I bought this thinking even moderate quality espresso would be better than the homemade cold brew I was making and drinking during my work break. Well, the quality of the double shots is excellent for a gadget like this...about 85% as good as my 3k espresso machine at home! The technique required a little practice but now in 6 minutes I can make my shot and clean up the machine during my break and the results are excellent. I don't know why I waited so long to get this. Long car trips are going to be a breeze now too.
Went through airport security and the agent said “we sees lot of these”! I only wish it would hold just a little bit more water.

Love this product. On a 6 week trip through Egypt and Europe. The OUTIN makes perfect espresso and the travel case protects the machine and lets me carry up to 20 pods. I only wish the outstanding engineers at OUTIN would design a portable milk frother. Then it would be a perfect world!
